Supplies
We'll be using Psp 8
a tube and a font of your choice or download mine
here
open the tube in Psp 8, open the font and minimize it
the mask used in the tutorial, you can get it here
unzip the mask into your Psp 8 mask file
Ok, lets get started!
don't forget to save often as a pspimage!
- file -> new -> 600 x 600 transparant 16 milj. colors -> ok -> minimize by clicking the - (this image will be called 'image 1')
- open your tube and look at the size (bottom right)

- file -> new -> and fill in width and height 50 pixels bigger then your tube -> if you use mine this will be 408 x 351 transparant 16milj. colors -> ok
- fill
with a color out of your tube, not to dark, not to light -> my color is #8B92AA
- layers -> load/save mask -> load from disk -> look up the wicked-1 mask -> keep default settings -> ok

- activate the "Mask - Raster 1" in your layer palette by clicking on it -> right click -> delete -> answer yes to the question that pops up

- edit -> copy
- open image 1 -> edit -> paste -> as a new layer -> minimize image 1 again
- now we will open a small rectangular new image, the size will depend on your tube, if you use mine it will be 150 x 100
file -> new -> 150 x 100, 16milj. colors, transparant -> ok
- fill
this small image with a dark color out of your tube -> my color is #354154
- repeat step 5 to 7
- open image 1 -> edit -> paste -> as a new layer -> repeat this 2 more times (you should have now 5 layers on your image)

- move
the small images to the desired place, on the picture you can see where i placed mine

- if you're happy with your image -> layers -> merge -> merge visible
- effects -> texture effects -> fine leather -> with the settings shown below (if you have different colors then what i use, choose a light color in the same color range!) -> ok

- effects -> 3d effects -> drop shadow -> 10 10 55 8 color: the dark color out of your tube

- open your tube -> edit -> copy -> go back to image 1 -> paste as a new layer
- if you want you can move
your tube until you like the position
- effects -> 3d effects -> dropshadow -> same settings as step 16 -> ok
- if you're happy with your image -> layers -> merge -> merge visible
- you might want to save your image as a pspimage file now, like this you can use it again to put different texts on it
file -> save as -> name your image and save as pspimage
- now move
your merged layer to the top of the image so that we have room to put our text at the bottom
- layers -> new raster layer -> ok
- click your texttool
-> choose in the tooloptions your font and size -> i used Evanescent, size 150, stroke width 1, colors -> foreground color: the dark color you used before, fill color: the light color you used before

- click on your image -> type the desired text in the box that appears -> apply
- with the ants running around your text -> effects -> 3d effects -> inner bevel with the settings shown below -> ok

- the ants still running around your text -> effects -> 3d effects -> dropshadow -> same settings as in step 16 -> ok
- selections -> select none
- if you're not happy with the position of your text, use your move tool
to move it to the desired place
- you can now add your watermark
- layers -> merge -> merge all
- optional: if you think the tag is to big -> image -> resize -> 70% (or whatever size you like) - smart size - 'lock aspect ratio' and 'resize all layers' checked -> ok
adjust -> sharpness -> sharpen
- file -> save as -> give your tag a name and save as a jpg -> and your tag is done!
this is an example of the same tutorial but with another tube, font and colors

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
