Supplies We'll be using Psp 8 a tube and a font of your choice or download mine here open the tube in psp, open the font and minimize it Lokas Software: 3d Shadow, you can download it here install 3d Shadows into your Psp 8 plugins file Ok, lets get started! don't forget to save often as a pspimage! file -> new -> 600x600, 16 milj colors -> ok open the tube (or the one of your choice) -> copy -> back to your new image -> paste as a new layer layers -> new raster layer -> ok take your preset shapes tool and choose a shape and color (preferably a color out of your tube) hold the left mouse button down and draw your shape. I chose a square. Now look at your tube and draw your shape so that it looks good in according to your tube effects -> 3d effects -> inner bevel -> see the settings below layers -> new raster layer -> ok repeat step 2 but choose another shape and another color effects -> 3d effects -> inner bevel -> same as step 5 again layers -> new raster layer -> ok again repeat step 2 but with another shape and color as the 2 previous ones effects -> 3d effects -> inner bevel -> same as step 5 repeat this until you think you have enough shapes! (the choice is up to you) take your move tool and move your shapes the way you like it (see image below) if your happy with how it looks -> click your tube layer in your layer palette (this should be raster 2) -> layers -> arrange -> bring to top layers -> merge -> merge visible - all your layers will now be merged down to one layer effects -> 3d effects -> drop shadow -> see settings below this step is optional: if you feel it looks to big: image -> resize -> UNCHECK "resize all layers" resize it to the desired size - i chose 80% adjust -> sharpness -> sharpen take your move tool and move your merged layer to the top of the image so that you have room at the bottom to put your text layers -> new raster layer -> ok take your text tool and choose your text and color -> type your text -> apply ants still running -> effects -> 3d effects -> inner bevel -> same as step 5 effects -> lokas software -> 3d shadow -> see settings below with your ants still runing around your text move your text to the desired place selections -> select none add your watermark you might want to save your image as a pspimage file like this you can always add other text to it file -> save as -> name.pspimage layers -> merge -> merge all resize if you think it looks too big: image -> resize adjust -> sharpness -> sharpen save your image as a jpg and your tag is done!
